Mastered Class Record

From Gor Wiki

MASTERED CLASS RECORD
Once a path has been mastered, it becomes a permanent part of your character's journey.

What Is Permanent Mastery Credit?

When a class reaches Class Level 100, it earns Class Mastery.

That accomplishment becomes part of the character's long-term progression. The class is recognized as a completed path even if the character later chooses to pursue another.

This completed mastery is what the Mastered Class Record represents.

A mastered class is not forgotten when you begin another.

The class you completed remains part of your character's progression history and can continue contributing to systems built around class mastery.

THE MOMENT OF MASTERY
Reaching Level 100 changes the class from a path being pursued into a path that has been completed.
Gain class experience and continue advancing through the levels of the chosen path.
At Class Level 100, the primary progression of the class is complete and the class becomes mastered.
The completed class becomes part of the character's long-term progression and can contribute to systems that recognize mastery.

WHAT A MASTERED CLASS RECORD MEANS
Mastery is a completed accomplishment, not merely the class you happen to be playing today.
Once the class has reached mastery, that completed path remains part of the character's long-term progression history.
The character may later begin developing another class without the completed mastery losing its place in the larger progression system.
Each mastered class can contribute toward the broader Jack of All Trades path and other systems that recognize completed class mastery.

ACTIVE CLASS AND MASTERED CLASS RECORD
What you are currently studying and what you have already mastered are two different things.

Your active class is the path your character is currently developing.

It represents your present focus and may provide direct access to eligible systems associated with that class.

A mastered class is a path your character has already completed.

It remains part of the character's history and long-term progression even when another class becomes the active focus.

MASTERED PATHS BUILD UPON ONE ANOTHER
A character's progression can become a history of completed disciplines.

A character may eventually master many different classes.

For example:

1. Develop Knight to Level 100.

2. Knight becomes a mastered class.

3. Begin developing Mage.

4. Reach Mage Level 100 and master Mage.

5. Begin developing Alchemist.

6. Continue building a history of completed class paths.

The character's Mastered Class Record now includes the completed paths that came before.

Starting a new class represents beginning a new chapter, not erasing the previous ones.

AN EXAMPLE CHARACTER HISTORY
Over time, a character's mastered classes can tell the story of where they have been.

A character begins life as a Knight.

After a long period of development, the character reaches Knight Level 100 and earns Knight mastery.

Later, the character studies magic and eventually reaches Mage Level 100.

Years of adventuring lead the character toward the wilderness, where Hunter is eventually mastered as well.

The character's completed history now includes:

• Mastered Knight
• Mastered Mage
• Mastered Hunter

Even while the character is actively developing a fourth class, the three completed masteries remain part of the character's long-term progression.

MASTERED CLASSES AND JACK OF ALL TRADES
The record of what you have mastered becomes the foundation for a greater progression path.

Jack of All Trades is built upon completed class mastery.

Each mastered class contributes toward that broader progression path.

When an eligible class has a dedicated Class Bonus System, mastery can also allow that class's specialized system to become available through Jack of All Trades.

The Mastered Class Record is the foundation of Jack of All Trades. The more paths a character completes, the larger their history of mastered disciplines becomes.

MASTERY AND CLASS BONUS ACCESS
A completed class can carry more than a name into long-term progression.
The class is still being developed and its eligible systems are associated with actively following that class.
The class becomes mastered and receives permanent completion credit.
The mastery contributes toward Jack of All Trades, and eligible dedicated class systems can become available through that larger progression path.

MASTERY AND PRESTIGE ARE DIFFERENT
A class is already mastered at Level 100.

A player does not need to continue leveling beyond 100 in order for a class to count as mastered.

Class Level 100 earns permanent mastery credit.

Levels beyond 100 become Prestige Growth.

Prestige may support smaller statistical improvements, scaling, recognition, and future class-specific progression, but it is not another mastery requirement.

Level 100: The class is mastered.

Level 100+: The mastered class continues growing through prestige.

WHY PERMANENT MASTERY MATTERS
The time invested in completing a class continues to matter after you move on.
A character can develop a progression history made up of the different disciplines they have completed.
Completing one class does not require the character to remain permanently locked into that single identity.
Completed classes become the building blocks of the larger Jack of All Trades progression system.
